Long Blogs are Dead
We need short blogs, people. I am serious. I went to several blog spots (pun intended) referred to me by my knowledgeable blogger friend, only to find novel-like-blogs on trivial stuff like the new Verizon Wireless Android , or the fugitive monkeys still on the loose.
Time is money, so don’t waste it.
Blogs with 500 words or more are dead. No one has the time (or energy) to read your long philosophies when the Twitter kids are summarizing them all into 140-character thoughts. We know how to think… we do not need things digested for us. If your sentence frames a question, don’t give us the answer – we’ll find it for you (and us).
Communication preferences have changed, friend – time to get on board.

Google Loves You
Well, supposedly, this acquisition will lower your monthly phone bill to zero. All while making Skype look like very old and outdated news. No joke.
So, here is how it will potentially work. Gizmo5, a Voice over IP network, uses open-standards. Very similar to Skype -- mega-super-cheap outgoing calls to domestic and international phones and free calls to other Skype users. So, take Skype and then add all this:
- Free calls to Google Talk, Yahoo, and AIM users
- Free online phone number that will ring your cell, home, and Gizmo5 client devices
- Conference calls
- Call routing
- SMS
- Voice mail that can be mailed to your email
Thank you, Google!
So, up until now we have felt on the mercy of phone companies – switching plans on us, signing us up for something we never signed up for, charging late fees for on time payments, re-routing our calls to customer service so that it takes about an hour to reach the actual human being -- but new times have come. Times when you and I can talk free… no matter the device, or location, or gender. We have entered into a free world.
I say: We are ready. Bring it.

Britney Spears’ Twitter account got hacked! If you visited Brit’s tweet page earlier today, you would know what I’m talking about.
Something about her and the Devil.
We can only imagine the shock that little Brit has gone through... Again. Lucky for her the SWAT Team reacted accordingly and was able to get the situation under control.

That’s Jack Dorsey on the right, the founder of Twitter. And on the left is some chick. No clue who she is or why she is in that picture with Jack, but I don’t care. So, let’s just ignore her…. (iPhone deal is kind of cute -- but ignore that as well.)
Why, you ask? …
Well, one of the reasons is that he developed Twitter. He developed Twitter in 2 weeks. The whole thing and the cell messaging system – 2 weeks. Done. That makes him a very, very smart guy to say the least. But most importantly, he’s hot. Very hot. Very hot and very smart.
Oh – he also revolutionized media. No biggie…. just thought I’d mention.
So, with all that said, why wouldn’t a GeekGirl dedicate the entire blog post just to him, you know? …..

Little Hope
The movie starts and 1st screen reads ‘Little Hope, New Hampshire’ …. What would be like to live in the town called ‘Little Hope’? Or even better, to be born there?

Ok, I am today in this ‘special’ kind of mood as I am spending this gorgeous summer November day stuck in my apartment cause I am just way too exhausted. I’m serious. I am tired and no sunshine can now drag me out of the house. Even if it was George Nicolas Clooney calling.
But, anyway….
I’m getting pretty random here, eh? That’s cause I don’t want to make too much sense to you. Cause if I do, that means that you are in my head and you need to get out. Now. My random thoughts should not make too much sense to you and that is the rule. You can think that they do, but they really don’t.

Now if I had a middle name like most of people living on this continent, I would have typed that in. But I don’t have a middle name, you know? I’m Serbian. We don’t like to confuse ourselves with so many names. After all, we have centuries of names to remember, or so we think. And then you hit the max and -- done – no more space for new names.
So I need a middle name and I’m getting one soon.
